Energy Level
Toy Fox Terriers love to be active and they are good runners, too. They are extremely alert as well. Plus, they like running and romping. If they could spend the whole day outside, they certainly would. Just as long as they had some water, a play partner, and a few breaks every so often. They would happily run around the yard and chase you until you're exhausted. They are very happy when they have a big yard or really, just any type of area to run around in. But, they can also live very happily in apartments as well; they just need to be taken to the park or walked reguarly. New owners need to know that these are fiesty, energetic dogs.
Personality
Toy Fox Terriers are definitely very alert and always aware of what's going on around them. This helps make them loyal to their families and good watch dogs. They are also very friendly, but since they are a cautious dog, they might keep their distance when they first meet you. But once they adapt to you, they will be very loyal and will look out for you. Finally, they are extremely intelligent. They are true geniuses even if you can't notice it at first. They can recognize if you are sad and they will lay by you to comfort you. Because of their intelligence, they also can learn tricks quickly. They might bark a lot but that's just their way of trying to help protect their family.
Appearance
- They have a very small body with pointy ears similar to a fox's ears.
- They have an athletic body which is good for running around.
- They have thin legs that move quickly.
- They also have a short tail.
- They can come in four different color mixtures. There is White & Black, White & Tan, White & Black & Tan, and White & Chocolate & Tan.
